The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications are actually open and can shut on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should satisfy the following criteria:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a home that has a combined gross family earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for every annum.
• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined domestic cash flow doesn't exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and need not submit any evidence of income.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent inhabitants from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
Applicants are reminded to here offer the proper Identity Document numbers, names, and surname, as reflected of their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds individuals who are learning or plan to research at a public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply here now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
